Dylan Taylor, Pr.Eng.

Dylan is a registered Professional Engineer with more than 13 years of experience in urban development, land infrastructure, and civil engineering design. His expertise includes roadway engineering, earthworks, stormwater management, and bulk service infrastructure, with a strong focus on digital design workflows, automation, and Building Information Modeling. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Stellenbosch University and has contributed to major development projects across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

Throughout his career, Dylan has played a leading role in the design and management of large-scale infrastructure projects, including residential communities, commercial developments, and smart city initiatives. As a key design engineer on the NEOM Trojena project, he led roadway design and digital delivery strategies. His experience also includes projects such as Zimbali Lakes Development, Kigali Innovation City, and Blessington Residential Estate, where he applied corridor modeling, earthworks optimization, and parametric workflows to improve design efficiency and quality.

Dylan is especially recognized for his work in Civil 3D automation and software development. He has created custom tools that improve corridor modeling, streamline metadata integration, and enhance quantity takeoff workflows. With programming experience in Python, C#, Dynamo, and Java, he develops practical solutions that improve design accuracy and production speed.

His combination of engineering expertise, BIM leadership, and computational design experience allows him to bridge traditional engineering practices with advanced digital workflows. Dylan brings a forward-thinking, technology-driven approach that helps teams deliver projects with greater speed, precision, and consistency.
