Skip Rutherford, P.L.S.
Skipper C. “Skip” Rutherford is a Professional Surveyor & Mapper and a member of the Florida Surveying & Mapping Society, with 50 years of surveying experience across Northwest Florida. Since establishing his business in 1983, he has built a trusted reputation for precision, reliability, and deep regional expertise.
Throughout his career, Skip has overseen a full range of surveying services, including boundary and subdivision surveys, planning and platting support, construction layout, wetlands jurisdictional determinations, topographic and as-built surveys, mean high water lines, route and condominium surveys, aerial control, bathymetric and hydrographic surveys, right-of-way acquisitions, sanitary sewer layouts, coastal construction setbacks, and engineering surveying. As an Engineering Technician, he also supports residential and subdivision development, master planning, commercial and industrial land planning, and construction grading and drainage design, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
As co-founder of Rutherford Engineering alongside his son, Scot, Skip continues to provide the firm with unmatched hands-on knowledge and longstanding relationships throughout the region.
