Scot Rutherford, P.E.

Scot is a Florida-licensed Professional Engineer with more than 30 years of experience in civil engineering, supported by a strong background in surveying. His combination of formal engineering training and practical field knowledge allows him to deliver thoughtful, efficient solutions for a wide range of projects.

He began his career with Greenhorne & O’Mara Engineering, a national firm later acquired by Stantec, where he built a strong foundation in engineering and project delivery. In 2009, he joined SCR & Associates, where he continued serving clients across Northwest Florida with a focus on quality, responsiveness, and practical results.

Scot has developed trusted relationships with municipalities, county officials, regulatory agencies, and industry partners throughout the Florida Panhandle and beyond. His regional knowledge and collaborative approach help streamline design, permitting, and project coordination from concept through construction. He is especially experienced in residential, commercial, and public infrastructure projects, with a reputation as a dependable leader and valued partner.
